We are doing a case study on Askari Bank in my university for which are required its financial statements for the year ended 31 Dec 2007, plus a 2006 one if possible for background info on what the Bank has been up to.
Summary:
I didn’t get the statements because they didn’t have any hard copies.

7 May 2008, Wednesday, some time after university:
I go to the local Askari Bank branch. The only person that seemed like she could have helped was the Operations Manager. So, I went to her (she had very eerie eyes). She told me to go to the basement to Mr. X (forgot the person’s actual name).
So I went downstairs and asked for him, he raised his hand: I am X
I told him what I wanted (financial statements) and he told me to ask Y (forgot that person’s name too) since he is more senior.
Y told me that I won’t be able to get any copies from here. I’ll need to go to AWT Head Office.
I went like: AWT Head Office? Where is that?
Y: On the Mall road.
Me: Where on the Mall road? Its so big.
X: Near D. Watson
Me: Oh, there. The big Askari building there. Right, then, I’ll go there. Thanks.
And I came back home, thinking that I may have lost the battle but I haven’t lost the war yet. (^_-)

Me and my bro went to the AWT Head Office. Like before, I went for the Operations Manager but he was busy so we went to a lady beside her, sitting under the desk of Credits.
I asked her what I wanted and she told me to see the Operations Manager. So, we went back to him.
I started to wait for him to finish up with his work but bro got impatient and went straight to his desk and asked for the statements. He did not understand bro so I clarified. He told us to go to the Finance Department on the Second Floor.
So, we went outside to the elevators but the guard said that we must get a visitor card by submitting our ID cards to get in.
So, we went to the registrar and told him our requirements. He asked for a reference to a person with a name without which we could not be allowed in.
Back to the Operation Manager, we went but he wasn’t at his seat. (?_?)
What to do?
We went to a random employee and told him what we wanted. He told to go to the Accounts Department on the back. We went there. There poeple said that we won’t get any statements from any branch of the Bank. I asked, “Isn’t this the Head Office?”
He said, “No. The Head Office is upstairs. This is just a branch.”
We were about to leave and ask father for help when we saw that the Operations Manager was back in his seat again. We went to him and asked that the guard wants to give us a name to let us go up. He said the name is “Asif Nawaz”.
Finally, I thought.
Back to the registrar. He called upstairs to let Mr. Asif know we want to meet him and … he was on a holiday. (>_<) No matter. He’ll be back on Monday.
I (alone, since bro is in his university) go to the Bank again (the Head Office, of course). Straight to the registrar with all the things required: Mr. Asif Nawaz of Finance Department with reference to the Operations Manager. Plus my ID card.
Following the usual procedure, he calls him up. Gladly, he is at his seat. So he talk to him about how I need financial statements. And Mr. Asif doesn’t understand him. So, I am allowed to talk to him over the phone.
I explain to him the case that I need them for the case study in my university. He suggests me to get it from their website (which the local branch Operations Manager suggested too) but I tell him that I needed 7 copies in print. And its impracticable to print that much myself. He tells me that even they don’t have that many copies for issue to me, may be for their branches but not for the general public (or ICAP students, for that matter).
So, I take my ID card and walk back to my car
